Fund Category Performance
Equity funds posted good returns during the quarter, helped by the recent economic reforms push by the government and CRR cut by the RBI in September. Healthcare sector funds topped the charts, and financial sector and small/mid-cap funds followed close behind.
Portfolio Analysis of Diversified Equity Funds
Cash levels of diversified equity funds continued its downward march in August as well. Exposure to large cap stocks moved up. Fund managers increased exposure to technology and healthcare sectors during the month.
