S Naganath has stepped down as the President & CIO of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.
Kalpen Parekh who had joined the fund house as Joint President in January has assumed the role of President of DSP BlackRock MF. Before joining DSPBR, Kalpen was MD – Marketing & Sales at IDFC Mutual Fund.
Naganath had joined DSP Black Rock in 1996 as CIO. He then joined Credit Suisse Asset Management, New York as a portfolio manager for international equities before re-joining DSPBR in 2002 as Joint President and Chief Investment Officer. He has also worked with Merrill Lynch Asset Management and GT Management.
The fund house has reshuffled the designations of some key management personnel. Anup Maheshwari, Head – Equities has taken over as CIO – Equities and Pankaj Sharma, Head – Fixed Income has assumed the role of CIO – Fixed Income. Ramamoorthy Rajagopal, Chief Administrative Officer has been redesignated as Chief Operating Officer.
The fund house manages assets worth Rs 64,177 crore as on March 2017.
