Essel AMC appoints Viral Berawala as CIO

Before joining Essel, Viral Berawala served as the Chief Investment Officer at Reliance Life Insurance Company.
 

Essel Finance has appointed Viral Berawala as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for the firm’s newest division - Essel Mutual Fund.

He has over two decades of experience spanning across financial services and information technology (IT) sectors. He has previously worked with Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management & Tata Consultancy Services.

Prior to joining Essel Finance, Viral served as the Chief Investment Officer at Reliance Life Insurance Company where he managed assets worth $ 2.8 billion.
