Morningstar India hosts complimentary events across the country to help financial advisers prepare their businesses for success in today's environment. In 2016, we hosted adviser forums in AhmedabadBengaluru, ChennaiPune, GoaHyderabad, Mumbai, Nashik, Surat, Vadodara and Kolkata. We kicked off this year’s event at Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Kanpur. The next events will be held in Bangalore on May 23 and Chennai on May 24.

We address areas where Morningstar products can strengthen client relationships. The content is aimed at empowering you with the key operating principles of portfolio construction and portfolio monitoring.

Morningstar’s experts will show you how to create, analyse and track customized client portfolios using Morningstar® Advisor WorkstationSM. In just a few simple steps, you can create a well-allocated portfolio, produce a comprehensive array of compelling reports that demonstrate the strength of your investment selections, and compare an investment strategy with a prospective client’s existing portfolio, amongst other things.

We will also talk about the most optimal way to construct a sensible asset allocation model that meets a client’s investment objectives. Your clients tend to hold multiple assets, but rarely, if at all, are they held in an optimal fashion in a single portfolio. To help you provide the best solutions to clients, Morningstar Investment Adviser India offers a range of model portfolios which are built for the long term, with a keen eye on risk and asset allocation, and created to help meet your clients' need at each stage of their life. The construction process is based on more than 30 years of ground-breaking research on long-term strategic asset allocation. We examine the challenges of meeting client risk and return objectives and tell you why portfolios are designed to be the foundation of your clients' investing experience.

Besides, the director of fund research will illustrate how Morningstar analyses and rates its funds and how advisers can use these ratings to enable them make the right portfolio decisions.

Registration is free. CFP certificants attending these events can expand their expertise while earning 2 Continuous Education (CE) points.
