Seven enterprising mutual fund experts - Anoop Nasa, Hitesh Kakkad, Milind Shah (more popularly known as Money Bhai on Twitter), Jigar Parekh, Shiva Prasad Konduru, Srikanth Matrubai and Viral Bhatt have formed a study group called ArthMitra Gurukulam. The group is conducting its maiden knowledge-filled event for advisers on October 25 in Bengaluru.
Talking about the rationale of forming ArthMitra, Srikanth says, “Generally, advisers attend events organized by fund houses where they get product and market updates. We realized advisers need to learn about marketing, soft skills and technology to be ahead of the game. So we formed this group which would act as a platform for advisers to learn and share their thoughts.”
The event scheduled to be held in Bengaluru will have four speakers covering diverse topics. The half-day event would also have surprise speakers, names of whom have not been disclosed yet.
The organizers have capped the registrations at 60 so that the sessions are interactive. Srikanth says there are three lucky draws worth Rs 7,000 each to be won for three people. Talking about the topics which would be covered at the event, Srikanth says that advisers will get practical tips which will help them get fresh insights to grow business. Anoop Nasa of My Finkart will be speaking on increasing productivity. Mumbai-based Deepak Khemani will talk about making yourself future ready while Saurabh Bajaj will help advisers tackle their greatest fears.
