The Morningstar Advisor Workstation, or AWS, is now integrated with the BSE StAR MF platform.
This means, subscribers can now directly execute client transactions through AWS. Currently, only buy and sell transactions can be executed. Going ahead, it will be possible to execute all types of transactions such as systematic investment, systematic withdrawal and systematic transfer plans.
Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bombay Stock Exchange, or BSE, and Aditya Agarwal, Managing Director of Morningstar India, announced the initiative today before ringing the BSE closing bell at the convention hall.
This is how subscribers can execute transactions through AWS:
Subscribers will have to prepare a transaction proposal for clients and follow all necessary steps till Action Plan page. In Action Plan page, click ‘Execute Transaction’ option at the top left corner.
After this, you will asked to provide your BSE StAR MF Platform’s credentials. This page will also show transactions to be executed. Once you review the details, Execute transactions through the platform. Thereafter, you shall see status of the transactions (success, fail, partial success).
Through the same page, users can send payment link to clients. Your clients will get an email notification for payment. Once they click on the payment link, they will be directed to BSE website for payment.
